Okinawa was once celebrated worldwide as the “Island of Longevity.”
Today, however, that image is gradually fading amid the rapid changes of modern society.

In exchange for convenience, disrupted dietary habits, lack of physical activity, and excessive dependence on medical care have progressed, weakening the fundamental ability to live healthily and independently that people should naturally possess.

  From an early age, I grew up watching my parents and living in an environment where medicinal herbs were always close at hand. Through this upbringing, I developed a natural interest in nature and herbal medicine, and eventually came to pursue this path myself. I have been involved in product development at Okinawa Chosei Yakuso Co., Ltd., a company with over 50 years of history led by my father.

  At TA Medical, we inherit the legacy of herbal research cultivated by Okinawa Chosei Yakuso Co., Ltd., along with its spirit of “Araragama” — wholehearted dedication and sincerity. Our mission is to create new health value grounded in scientific evidence.

Through the research and development of advanced ingredients such as NMN, we aim not to extend “lifespan,” but to extend healthspan, and to help people regain their natural vitality and radiance in everyday life, work, and sports.

  Valuing the spirit of harmony taught by Okinawa’s nature and wisdom, we seek to lay the foundation for a new wellness society through flexible thinking that adapts to changing times, supported by sound and reliable science.
